We are looking to hire an experienced senior software developer to join our small team. You will play an integral role in creating a well-designed, scalable, and robust solution to solve healthcare communication and integration use cases.
We’re designing this as a breakout role – with components of both an individual contributor and team leader. You’ll help drive technical decisions and implement some of the trickier bits, while leading and mentoring junior engineers and contracted resources.
Senior Software Developer Responsibilities:
Meeting with developers & product managers to help define software requirements and design pragmatic solutions.
Delegating appropriate tasks to junior developers and mentoring them to success.
Writing advanced programming code.
Reviewing code, processes and system configurations.
Managing project timelines and tasks.
Creating technical documents for new software programs.
Proposing architectural changes.
Senior Software Developer Requirements:
Previous experience as a software programmer (3-5+ years preferred).
Team lead or mentorship experience is a plus
Prior experience working in healthcare integration is a plus (HL7 FHIR API, HL7v2, C-CDA, DICOM, EDI)
Experience working with mission critical and/or at-scale systems.
Our tech stack:
AWS infrastructure, with a bias toward managed services and auto-scaling.
Predominantly relational databases, with some NoSQL when appropriate.
Both Python and node.js on the backend.
Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 **variable based on applicant location**
